Interests
My interests could be described as eclectic, but are mainly related to the arts and humanities, eg. history, literature and music. The sites listed below are a mixture of the personal and the professional.

I would like to draw your attention to my new BOOK REVIEW SITE, which seeks to even out the balance in favour of small publishers and new authors.

Sassoonery.demon.co.uk I am currently the secretary of the Siegfried Sassoon Fellowship, a literary society formed in October 2001. SS is of course one of my favourite authors. If you would like to know more about him, visit this comprehensive site, created by the SSF President, Michele Fry.
Nilfun.net The third most important man in my life (after my husband and Siegfried Sassoon) is the New Zealand singer/songwriter Neil Finn, whose music has been a source of inspiration to me. This is Neil's personal web site, which makes great use of graphics and sound - it's NOT a fan site.
Sussexpast.co.uk A major hobby of mine is archaeology, which often sneaks into my novels. Although I don't live anywhere near Sussex, I happen to be a member of the Sussex Archaeological Society, and have spent many happy summer days digging with them at Fishbourne and Clay Hill.
Barbara Pym Society The other literary society to which I belong is the Barbara Pym Society. Barbara's literary career is an example of how patience and determination can overcome adversity. She also went to the same Oxford college as myself - or should I say I went to the same college as her?

Book Review Page I started this book review page in an effort to help other small publishers and self-publishers. It's growing slowly. Anyone can submit a review or a book for review. Why not take a look?
Rhys Jones Rhys is a member of the Royal Photographic Society and is aiming for his licentiateship. You can see some of his work here.
William Meikle's Authors' Gallery Willie has just started a new scheme for marketing self-published authors, replacing his original string of web sites. This link takes you straight to the Deborah Fisher page.
Welsh Books Council Two out of three Tregolwyn titles are available from the Welsh Books Council, along with my earlier work, "Who's Who in Welsh History" (Christopher Davies, 1997). Here is a direct link to the WBC's sales database.
Yr Academi Gymreig Yr Academi Gymreig (Welsh for The Welsh Academy) is an important source of support for Welsh writers.
Unlimited Publishing Choose this link to find out more about POD (print-on-demand) publishing, and about the novel, "A Broad Church" by Deborah Fisher
Have Fun!
